SONY ERICSSON LAUNCHES FIRST SMARTPHONE TO SUPPORT CHINA MOBILE’S TD-SCDMA NETWORK

In order to gain more market share on China’s smartphone market, Sony Ericsson launched the first smartphone to support China Mobile’s TD-SCDMA network yesterday.
The newly launched Sony Ericsson A8i was developed in conjunction with China Mobile and runs on the operator’s OMS 2.0 smartphone platform. The smartphone is expected to be one of the best smartphones in the Chinese market, in terms of both quality communication and entertainment factor.
Sony Ericsson has already launched several smartphones this year based on the Windows Mobile, Anroid, and Symbian platforms.
