LENOVO GETS READY TO COMPETE WITH SONY, NINTENDO, AND MICROSOFT

-August 30, 2010

Chinese PC maker Lenovo has created a games console in order to compete with Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony.

On Aug 9, Lenovo spun off a team to develop and market the “Ebox”, a platform that was similar to Microsoft’s Kinect for their Xbo 360 Console.

The Kinect enables users to wirelessly ontrol and interact in the game without the need for a game controller.

The device has a user interface and user gestures are read with a webcam.
